Casey Stoner 2011 World Champion Memorabilia

Casey Stoner has claimed his second MotoGP world title in emphatic fashion.

In challenging conditions and on his 26th birthday Stoner created history by not only winning the world title, but also becoming the first rider to secure five consecutive victories at the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island.  It was Stoner’s fourth straight pole at Phillip Island, which he turned into his 32nd career win. He became the first rider to secure a second world crown in the 800cc MotoGP class since it moved up from 500cc.
Afterwards, a euphoric Stoner stood on his bike to salute the crowd of 43,880.  He called it a “dream season”, adding “the home win and the championship in the one day … words can’t describe it.” It was his ninth victory of the season after his 11th pole position, a new record for most poles in one season in the MotoGP four-stroke era.
He rated his second world championship as better than his 2007 title with Ducati, saying that year he was criticised for having the best bike and the best tyres.  Nothing can detract from the magnitude of his achievement.  Sportznut would like to offer you an opportunity to purchase the attached Casey Stoner Lithograph.
