Newcastle Jets A-League Champions 2007/2008
The Newcastle Jets – a team dismissed at the start of the 2007/08 season as potential cellar dwellers – have taken all before them and claimed their first Hyundai A-League trophy with a one-nil defeat of fierce near neighbours, the Central Coast Mariners.
In a tight, tense contest that had no shortage of feeling, it was striker Mark Bridge who capitalised in the 64th minute to net the only goal at Sydney Football Stadium.
To commemorate this outstanding achievement the FFA is proud to release three very special items. The shirt has already sold out this morning but we are able to take expressions of interest. Limited numbers only remain on the lithograph so get in now to avoid disappointment.
